Recently I’ve been busy creating a manual to design tabletop games. It has already produced about ten. One of them, Between Tides, was made to deliberately pressure test how following the manual would fare against a stupid game essence: “A game about tide pools?” (it included the question mark). The experiment ended up becoming a neat little card game that is better explained by itself, as I’m hosting the game on CloudFlare.
